OUR PHILOSOPHY
dhi: ( धी: ) is a word derived from Sanskrit which signifies understanding or intelligence. It is the core concept that our company is built around – the pursuit of a better understanding so that we may improve things; which lends to our foundational philosophy – “Knowledge is Power”.
The founders of dhi: Solutions firmly believe that challenges breed opportunity, and that most problems are solvable if they are broken down into smaller pieces, but solving such problems requires a substantial understanding of the bigger picture. This belief underpins all of our thought processes, and has a significant impact on the unique approaches we take to resolve the challenges faced by our customers.

OUR STORY
Shreyan Poudyal
Co-Founder & CEO
Shreyan started his career in consulting, having worked at Arcadia Solutions and McKinsey and Co., with a focus on healthcare technology, strategy and analytics. He then transitioned into product management at Explorys, a start-up which was eventually acquired by IBM to form IBM Watson Health where Shreyan played a key role in building out and managing a multi-million dollar AI-driven Software-as-a-Service product portfolio around value based care, population health management and payment reform. Shreyan received his AB, BE and MEM degrees from Dartmouth College and is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt as well as a Albert Schweitzer "Fellow for Life"
Gaurub Pandey
Co-Founder & CEO
After obtaining a BS in Computer Science from Brown University, Gaurub proceeded to work at Cisco Systems from 2008 to 2010. He left Cisco and co-founded Bajra Technologies LLC. In 2018, he joined hands with Shreyan to found a technology company focused on delivering technologies that would enable a better patient experience. His hobbies include jazz piano, scuba diving and sitting on beaches.
Dr. Sajan Rajbhandary, MD
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Sajin is a practicing Medical Oncologist at Nepal Cancer Hospital and Research Center in Kathmandu where he also holds the post of Medical Registrar and plays an active role on the Infection Prevention Control Team. He values the critical importance of good data in clinical applications and guides the streamlining of clinical flow and research needs at dhi: Solutions; coupling his medical expertise with cutting-edge technology. When he's not treating his patients and helping them fight through cancer, or helping build out the foundation for smart hospitals of the future, he participates in a lot of research related to oncology and hemato-oncology, attending and presenting at numerous conferences around the world. Dr. Sajin is a graduate of Tianjin Medical University in Tianjin, China where he completed his MBBS and MD certifications.
Nishant Karki
Chief Development Officer
Nishant is an experienced entrepreneur and an engineer that few can match in terms of being a perfectionist when it comes to software development and the role of technology in our lives. Always learning about the next innovation and trying to find out how to improve what we already have, Nishant's curiosity fuels his approach towards continuous learning and improvement. A graduate of Tribhuwan University's Institute of Engineering program, Nishant holds a BE in Computer Engineering and is also the co-founder and CEO of Bajra Technologies Pvt. Ltd. In his limited free time, Nishant also experiments with the creation of keto-friendly recipes and treats.
Sandip Nepal
Chartered Accountant & Finance Expert
Sandip is a financial processes expert and Chartered Accountant who helps tighten up processes and controls for customers who are trying to get a better grip on their internal financial operations and practices. In his role, Sandip helps solve customer specific queries by leveraging his interest in finance and technology to create the best financial suite for our customers and improving the overall capabilities of our solution. Sandip received his B. Comm. degree from Indira Gandhi Open University and attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India to complete his CA certification. A staunch supporter of Manchester United Football Club, his interests are watching football to support his team, playing cricket, reading novels, and traveling.
Ashesh Acharya
Project Manager
Ashesh was previously involved in various development projects as a consultant and researcher since 2010. He has extensive experience in data analysis, project monitoring and evaluation, business planning and survey design with a number of sectors within Nepal. Unsatisfied with existing development practices and seeking change, he joined dhi: to make tangible and meaningful contributions to improve the current healthcare system in Nepal. He believes that change comes from within. Ashesh completed his Masters in Development Studies degree from Kathmandu University. His interests include the NBA, UFC, painting, and photography.
Safina Shrestha
Product Manager
One of the youngest and brightest talents at dhi:, Safina approaches her work at dhi: with an eagerness to learn and an incisive mind. With a significant amount of real-world problem solving experience under her belt, Safina is a quick study starting to leave an impact with our customers and the healthcare arena overall. The phrase, "Make it Apple!", inspires most parts of her works as her first project at dhi: as an Intern involved understanding what makes shiny things appealing. Her hobbies include reading, being snarky and learning new languages. 안녕하세요!
Laxmi Roy

Laxmi currently works as a CS. She is a self motivated person who believes everything happens for a reason. She is an optimist who focuses on growth and positivity through her enthusiasm, communication skill, flexibility, adaptability and problem solving capability. Laxmi, a team player, loves to collaborate and make an impact. She holds an MBA in Global Business and her interests includes drawing, visiting new places and hanging out with people.
